Cabane de la Baigt de Saint-Cours

Cabane de la Baigt de Saint-Cours is a small, unstaffed backcountry hut at 1560 m on the GR10 approach toward the col d’Ayous area.

Sleeping space is limited (capacity 2 in the hut; commonly is a couple of places on mattresses). Inside, there is a functional wood stove, plus a table and benches; there’s also a nearby natural water source (a source and a stream/ruisseau within walking distance). Plan on shepherd use during summer pasture dates (roughly mid-June to mid-September), when it is reserved for the shepherd and closed to hikers.
