Cabane de la Croix Coste

Cabane de la Croix Coste is a basic, unstaffed mountain hut in the Beaufortain Alps (around 1,500 m). Use it as a self-sufficient emergency/shelter stop: there’s no guard on site, and it’s intended as free-access accommodation rather than a bookable refuge.

Overnight use is first-come, first-served with no reservations—bring your own sleeping gear and food. the hut is having basic shelter with good insulation, while lacking cooking/utensil service; plan to be fully prepared for a night in simple wooden shelter.
