Cabane de la Cure
Cabane de la Cure is a small backcountry refuge in the French Pyrenees (Béarn) at about 1,654 m elevation. It sleeps 2 and is not a staffed hut; plan to self-manage your stay and cooking inside the hut’s basic setup.
Inside, there are mattresses and a wood stove for heating and cooking (dry toilets are outside). The hut has water nearby (within about 100 m) and is accompanied by a few flat tent spots outside (about 4–5 tents).
Access/approach is from Lescun: drive up to the plateau de Sanchèse, then continue on foot, following the HRP in reverse and approaching the Anaye cayolars area; the hut is reached by contouring right without changing elevation, then arriving at the cabane.
