Cabane de la Devèze

Cabane de la Devèze is an unmanned stone mountain shelter (cabane non gardée) in the French Pyrenees near Brassac, used mainly as a simple stop for hikers. It’s a small, first-come sleeping shelter with capacity for 2 people and no fixed beds, mattresses, or water system inside; bring your own sleeping gear and expect to manage your own comfort.

Inside you’ll find a wooden table with two wide fixed benches and a functional fireplace. The adjacent newer “white” cabin is for shepherds and is kept closed; the stone cabin for hikers is the one intended for passing parties. The hut can be restored and in good condition (notably around the roof/entry and interior furniture).
