Cabane de La Guinchée

Cabane de La Guinchée is a basic, unstaffed backcountry hut at 1,664 m on the Massif du Teillon near Soleilhas. It’s designed for small groups (2 sleeping places on mattresses) and is equipped with a wood stove and a table with 5 chairs, plus dishware and various tools.

Use is tied to the seasonal pastoral period: it can be occupied during the estive, and it may be closed/locked during that time. When open, expect a simple shelter—there is no fireplace—and plan to be self-sufficient for basic needs beyond what’s available inside.
