Cabane de Lamary

Cabane de Lamary is a small, non-guarded backcountry hut at 1,210 m on the commune of Oloron-Sainte-Marie, in the Béarn (Pyrénées-Atlantiques) area. It provides four sleeping spots and is intended for self-sufficient overnighting rather than booked lodging.

The hut is equipped with a fireplace and good insulation, plus a bas-flanc for sleeping; benches and a table are set outside. It’s accessible by 4x4, so expect regular use. For a stay, bring all your supplies (no stove service) and plan for limited utilities—there’s no running water or electricity, and sleeping gear is on you.
