Cabane de l'ancien stade de neige is a non-guarded backcountry hut at 971 m in the Avant-pays savoyard. It’s an open-access shelter where the first arrivals can use the space; there’s no official reservation or paid booking system for this type of refuge.

Inside, the hut has a wooden table and a wood stove. Plan to be self-sufficient and follow responsible “leave no trace” practice, as upkeep relies on visitors’ civility.
