Alpine hut

Cabane de l'Arech is a small pastoral backcountry hut (1638m) in the Orle valley, used as an unguided shelter and shared with a shepherd cabin next door. Sleep space is limited: it has 4 places on mattresses and no bedding is provided. The interior is set up for basic use with a fireplace, two tables with benches, a chair, lighting powered by solar panels, and an outside electrical connection; there’s also a sink area supplied by a captured spring (water is available within about 100m).

the hut is open (pastoral use), with a second-floor sleeping area reached by a ladder. Interior layout includes a chimney/fireplace and 4 mattresses, plus a basic setup for stove-free living; plan to bring your own sleeping gear and cooking supplies if needed.
