Cabane de l'Estany del Clot
Cabane de l'Estany del Clot is a small, open backcountry hut in the Réserve naturelle de Nohèdes (elevation 1,675 m). It sleeps about 2 people on mattresses (with a larger tarp/mattress setup used for overflow), and it’s equipped with a functional fireplace plus a wooden table/bench inside.
Inside, you’ll find at least some cooking gear (grilles for cooking and utensils). The hut has no latrines and no stove; water is not to be counted on inside the cabin, but there is said to be water outdoors within roughly 100 m. Expect strict conservation rules in the reserve, including highly restricted bivouacking and keeping pets on a leash.
Common access is via the Coll de Portus (parking), then a hike in, typically long enough to plan for a half-day push from Nohèdes (one guide-style route timing puts it at about 2.5 hours from Nohèdes). Use the hut on a first-come, first-served basis—there’s no booking for the hut itself; bring backup shelter gear in case the cabane is full.
