Cabane de l'Herbe-Soulette

Cabane de l'Herbe-Soulette is a small, unguided pastoral refuge in the French Pyrenees (1,600 m) used for overnight stopovers on local hiking routes. Use is free and there’s no advance booking—plan on a first-come, first-served stay and bring backup sleeping gear in case it’s full.

It sleeps 4 on mattresses and includes a picnic table with benches, a fireplace, and an upper mezzanine reached by a log. The hut is split into two parts: one side is kept for the shepherd, while the other is open to hikers.
