Cabane de Llassies

Cabane de Llassies is a non-guarded backcountry shelter in the French Pyrenees near the Llassiès lakes. It sleeps 4 and is set up for self-reliant overnight use, with a wood stove inside and simple seating/bedding arrangements. Use is free and open to walkers, with no reservation process required.

During summer it is occupied by shepherds as part of local pastoral use, so plan around shared access; outside that period it is left open for hikers. Interior setup includes a table, benches/stools, two wooden sleeping platforms with mattresses, and a wood stove; there is no fireplace provided. The shelter sits at about 2425 m.
