Cabane de l'Orri

Alpine hutCabane de l'Orri is a small, un-staffed primitive shelter in the Soussouéou Valley area at 1,451 m. It’s a “cabane ouverte” style stop: you arrive and use the space on a first-come, first-served basis (no advance booking).
Inside, expect a sleeping platform on low wooden “bas flancs” for up to about 3 people, with a dirt floor. A fire spot is available indoors, but there’s no chimney/smoke evacuation—burning indoors will fill the shelter with smoke and blacken the walls and ceiling.
The shelter is set on the right bank of the river and can be hard to spot behind a rock. Water is available nearby from the river/stream, but it should be filtered before drinking.
