Cabane de Lucharry

Alpine hutCabane de Lucharry is an unmanaged shepherd’s hut in the French Pyrenees (alt. ~1,236 m) near Etsaut. It’s used as a basic overnight stop: part of the hut is available to walkers when it’s not occupied by shepherds in the main pastoral period, with use on a first-come basis (no reservation system).
Inside, there are two small tables, four chairs, and a stove; sleeping is on the cement floor—there are no sleeping platforms (no “bat-flanc”). Water is available via a nearby fountain, but you should treat it with purification tablets; there’s no toilet on-site.
