Cabane de Luzurs

Cabane de Luzurs is a small, non-guarded backcountry shelter on the GR10D corridor near the Col de la Core in the French Pyrenees. Use is free and it’s designed for simple overnight stops rather than a staffed refuge.

Sleeping is very limited: 2 people can sleep on mattresses in the loft, with blankets suspended there. The ground floor includes a table, benches, and a wood stove; in summer the shelter is occupied by a shepherd during the grazing season, while in the rest of the year it functions as an open refuge.

The hut is on the GR10D route. From the Col de la Core area, typical access follows the track toward Luzurs, then continues on foot to the shelter at the edge of a clearing.
