Cabane de Mourre Petit

Cabane de Mourre Petit is an unstaffed backcountry shelter in the French Alps, used for emergency/basic shelter rather than as a managed refuge. The hut is unserviced, so plan on having no running water, electricity, or catering services and bring all food, water, and emergency gear you need.

Because it is not a bookable property, use is generally first-come, first-served for basic shelter. As with unmanaged alpine structures, it can also be closed or inaccessible at times for local maintenance or safety reasons.
