Cabane de Piparlan

Cabane de Piparlan is a backcountry hut on the Plateau de Beille area in the French Pyrenees (Ariège). It’s used as a destination hut for overnight stays booked through the “Nuit Nomade en cabane pastorale” program/route, with the booking handled via the Plateau de Beille “Nuit Nomade” system.

You access the hut via a hike starting from the Plateau de Beille parking area, and the walk to reach the cabane is about 1.5 hours. The program includes an overnight in the cabane pastorale (4 places), with the option of winter immersion by snowshoe to reach the cabane, plus a small snack/cold-handoff on arrival.
