Cabane de Tessoula

Cabane de Tessoula is a very small, unguarded backcountry hut in the French Pyrenees (elevation 1,535 m). It sleeps 2 and has a fireplace and mattresses; a water source is nearby. The hut is free to use on a first-come, first-served basis—no booking system is provided and no fees are required.

Approach is on foot starting from Castelet, following GRP® trail markings. Once you’re in the area, the final approach works through steep forest before reaching the Tessoula meadow, where the hut sits close to a source. Bring your own food and plan for night use without staff—this is an unguarded cabin.
