Cabane de villenave

Cabane de villenave is a free, open mountain refuge in Ariège near the parking area of the Pla de la Lau, reached on the Trapech trail. It is unstaffed and works on a first-come, first-served basis (no advance booking).

The hut has a fireplace and sleeping space for about 3–4 people in summer, with water available nearby. Use cases commonly tied to this location include GR10 and nearby routes such as “Tuc Coucou.”
