Cabane des Puges - castillonais

Cabane des Puges – castillonais is a basic, unstaffed Pyrenean mountain shelter used for backcountry overnights near the Castillonnais area. It sits at about 1,750 m and is meant for simple sheltering in the absence of services; use is generally first-come, first-served and free (no booking).

Plan on bringing your own sleeping setup (a sleeping bag or liner suited to cold, damp conditions) and basics for cooking/warmth as there are no staffed facilities implied by the shelter’s basic, non-guarded character.
