Alpine hutCabane d'Ichéus is an unstaffed stone mountain shelter in the Aspe Valley (about 1,550–1,580 m). It’s set up for cold-weather backcountry nights with a fireplace and an interior sleeping area on a mezzanine; the shelter is sized for up to 6 people and provides a basic common table and benches.
To reach the hut, start from Col du Bouésou and follow a marked route for about 3.9 km (roughly 1.5–2 hours). There is water within about 100 m, but a stove isn’t provided, so plan to cook and manage heat accordingly; use the fireplace only if you have the means to do so responsibly and come equipped for an open, unguarded hut stay.
