Cabane du Clot du Lac

Cabane du Clot du Lac (also known as Cabane du Bomboi) is a free, un-staffed mountain shelter on the GR®10 in the French Pyrenees, at 1,821 m. It provides 10 sleeping places on mattresses (including loft and floor spots), and is set up for basic refuge use rather than comfort.

The interior is split into a larger west side and a more spare east side. The west side has a table, benches, a wood stove, and a large mattress; the east side offers simple mattress spaces. There’s no running water—come prepared to melt or carry water, and bring what you need for cooking and heating since the cabin is rustic and open access: you can sleep here on a first-come, first-served basis for the available mattress spots.
