Cabane du Col d'Eliet

Cabane du Col d'Eliet is a non-guarded backcountry hut in the Ariège Pyrenees (about 1,683 m). It’s an open shelter used as an overnight step on long-distance itineraries, with a fixed sleeping setup sized for up to 6 people.

Inside, the hut has a large table, benches, and a fireplace on the ground level. Sleeping is on the upper floor (no mattresses), and the hut includes an exterior water source and a small adjoining salt reserve; wood is available nearby and a fireplace is present (though it’s unstaffed, so expect to manage your own firewood needs).
