Cabane du Fa

Cabane du Fa is an unstaffed backcountry shelter in the French Prealps sector. It sits at about 1320 m and is equipped with a fireplace, with a note from 2020 stating the shelter was in very good condition and that there is a water source behind the hut.

Use this as a simple bivouac-style stop: there are no sleeping places for guests, and cooking is not set up with a stove. Plan to be self-sufficient and arrive with your own provisions and gear; the fireplace can be used for warmth only if conditions and local practice allow.
