Cabane du Horquèth
Cabane du Horquèth is a small, unstaffed backcountry refuge in the French Pyrenees, intended for self-reliant overnight stops. It is limited to 3 places and includes a fireplace; use is first-come, first-served with no advance reservation process.
Plan on bringing your own provisions and basic shelter gear. The hut is rustic (simple interior with minimal fixed setup) and the expectation is to leave it clean and respect the site after your stay. One practical approach highlighted locally is the Circuit n°104 “Coth Arras par le Horquèth” (10.2 km with 800 m of elevation gain, about 5h40), which passes the ruins area at Horquèth en route to the Còth Arràs and onward via the Iseye area.
