Cabane du Lançonet

Cabane du Lançonet is a small backcountry shepherd cabin at 2,174m that’s primarily reserved for local shepherds during the summer grazing season (estive). It’s also usable by hikers outside the grazing season.

Inside, expect basic self-service shelter for at least two sleeping places (about 5 total capacity), with a wood stove plus a table and benches. A clear nearby water source is, but there’s no fireplace service provided at the cabin.
