Cabane du Larnoum

Cabane du Larnoum is an open, unmanned backcountry hut in the French Pyrenees at about 1,780 m. It’s a small shelter intended for 2–3 people, with interior accommodation on a modular sleeping floor/platform and a basic table-and-bench setup.

Inside, you’ll find a fireplace/cheminée, but plan around limited firewood. Bedding includes three places on mattresses/sleeping platforms and coverings are available, while there’s no latrine and no stove. Water is typically collected from a nearby stream/flow close to the hut, but it may be impacted by livestock in summer, so treat it.
