Cabane du Mont Chiran

Cabane du Mont Chiran is a backcountry refuge in the Verdon area at about 1,905 m, run as a base for hikers and astronomy-focused visitors. It’s a small, basic setup intended for overnight stays on multi-day trips to Mont Chiran and the observatory area.

Inside, it sleeps 2 people and is furnished with two beds/mattresses plus a table. The hut is set up for dry use (no showers and no fireplace), and there’s no onsite water source; plan on bringing drinking water or buying water if offered on arrival.
