Cabane du Solà

Cabane du Solà is a small, unguided stone wilderness hut used by hikers and fishermen in the French Pyrenees near Étang de Lanoux. It sleeps up to 6 people and includes wooden bunk platforms and a chimney for settling in after a day on the GR10 corridor.

The hut is left open and is used on a first-come, first-served basis (no booking). It’s free to use. Bring your own firewood—wood supplies are limited nearby—and expect weather-tightness issues: the single-pitch roof is to have holes, so leaks can occur in heavy rain.
