Cabane d'Urets

Cabane d'Urets (1947 m) is a non-guarded backcountry shelter on the French–Spanish border area. It sleeps about 8 people on mattresses (4 on the upper level), with basic interior furniture (a table and benches) and a winter-ready setup focused on staying warm rather than cooking conveniences.

Use is first-come, first-served with no reservation system. The shelter is “always open,” but it is rustic: no stove, and no dishes are provided. Bring a sleeping bag (blankets are present but in average condition) and plan for water that may require fetching from nearby sources in the small torrent system below the hut.
