Cabane forestière des Blâches

Cabane forestière des Blâches (Gîte forestier des Blâches) is an ONF forest cottage for backcountry stays near the hamlet of Poil (Senez). It’s a rustic setup with practical basics: a wood stove and a two-burner gas cooker, a refrigerator, and solar-powered electricity (with hot water supplied by a gas cylinder). The interior sleep setup is 8 mattresses on the mezzanine; bedding is not provided (sleeping bags and bed linen are required).

The gîte’s capacity is 8 people, with animals allowed, but dogs must be kept on leash during the season when a shepherd is present with his flock. Use runs mid-March to mid-November (dates can vary with weather). This is a paid rental with rates starting from €70 per night; reservations are required.
