Cabane forestière forêt domaniale de l'Hospitalet is a simple, unstaffed backcountry shelter in the Haute-Ariège area at 1,730 m. The stone building is in two parts, but only one room is open; it’s very basic and designed mainly for an emergency stop or quick refuge rather than comfort.

Inside, there’s a single wooden log bunk/bed, and the open room has no fireplace. Recent notes describe a shelter that can be drafty but still reasonably solid, with no chimney provided, so plan for cold/wet weather and keep your kit and trash under control.
