Cabane Jasse des Llerbes

Cabane Jasse des Llerbes is a functional, non-guarded backcountry hut in the Haute Ariège area of the French Pyrenees, sitting at 2170 m. It’s set up for overnight stays on sleeping platforms (four two-person mattresses) with a bench and table; there’s also a small amount of cookware available and a fireplace for heat.

The hut is generally open by free access, but it can be occupied by shepherds during the summer pastoral period (typically July through September). Use is designed for self-sufficient hikers; bring your own sleeping gear and supplies, as there’s no dining service and limited basic facilities. Capacity is small, with room for 8 people.
