Cabane pastorale du Col de Sasc is a small pastoral shelter on the GR10 near the Col de Sasc in Aston, in the Ariège Pyrenees. It’s an unstaffed refuge-style stop: use is primarily as a field shelter for walkers on the GR10, and it can be managed by shepherds during the summer pastoral period rather than kept as a public, bookable accommodation.

The shelter has been is very small and closed to randonneurs at times (sometimes kept locked), with seasonal variability in access. Plan on carrying your own basics and be ready for the possibility that the hut won’t be accessible when you arrive.
