Cayolar d'Utzigagna

Cayolar d'Utzigagna is an unstaffed mountain hut (cayolar) in the French Pyrenees at about 1,500 m. It’s used as basic open-access shelter on long-distance hiking loops, functioning as a free alternative to staffed refuges during overnight stops.

Use is free and there’s no reservation; sheltering is on a first-come, first-served basis. Expect very basic accommodation—roof and sleeping space in the hut loft area—with no water or food services provided, so treat it as a bring-your-own-and-self-supported night stop.
