Chalet de Bonneval-sur-Arc

Chalet de Bonneval-sur-Arc is an FFCAM backcountry hut (chalet) at 1,830 m in the Haute-Maurienne valley of the Arc. The hut is run by the Club Alpin Français, sleeps 15 people, and operates without on-site wardening (self-managed stay).

Use is by online reservation, with access codes issued after booking. The hut has a connected lock system and a “last-minute” option, and it’s intended as a base for activities such as ski de randonnée, with other nearby options including hikes to refuges like Le Carro, Les Evettes, Avérole, and Le Fond des Fours. Unaccompanied minors have a group-size limit of 7 maximum per group; the hut is also presented as a shared responsibility for guests to keep it in acceptable condition.
