Chalet des Bachals

Chalet des Bachals is a backcountry hut operated by the Commune des Avanchers, at about 1,617 m elevation. It’s an accessible “on-route” stop for hikers working between Avanchers-Valmorel and the higher Crève-Tête area via the route that passes the chalet of Pierre Larron, with the hut forming part of the Bachals line of approach.
