Chalet-Refuge de la Thuile

Chalet-Refuge de la Thuile is a small backcountry refuge in the Grand Arc area at about 1,770–1,782 m elevation. It has capacity for 10 people and includes a fireplace and a wood stove for heating. Use is pet-friendly (pets allowed).

The hut is fee-based (dinner and half-board are offered) and reservation is indispensable. For stays, plan on mountain-style catering with lunch and evening meals plus hot/cold drinks and snacks. Winter access and use are limited to ski parties and people on foot with avalanche awareness.
