Cliff Jump Wall
Cliff Jump Wall is a deep-water solo climbing area at Lions Bay on Howe Sound. One documented line, Kondor 2000, climbs approximately 18 m (60 ft) at 5.11a and is the right-most line in the area.
Approach the route by climbing down to the right of the popular 30-foot cliff jump, then traversing a low, pumpy ledge to the base of the taller wall. Kondor 2000 follows a crack-like feature with a more technical middle section, tops out, and finishes with a jump into the water.
This is not a casual fall zone: the line carries an S2 DWS safety rating, with ledge-fall potential and rocks at the base. Inspect the landing and committed features before climbing, and wait for high tide when needed for adequate water depth.
