Collet de l’Étang

Collet de l’Étang is a non-guarded mountain hut in the Vosges (elevation 1,098 m) intended for backcountry, walk-in use. Sleeping is on your own gear; there’s a functional chimney and cooking grates, plus tables inside for meals and shelter during storms.

The hut is sized for about 18 people. There’s no drinking water provided at the hut itself, and latrines are not available. Access is on foot from La Bresse via the Moyenmont route, taking roughly an hour, with the col signposted as “Collet de l’Étang.”
