Dolly Varden Cabin

Dolly Varden Cabin is a Chugach State Park public-use cabin on the Eklutna Lake Picnic Area site circle. It has a covered porch, fire ring, picnic table, and a latrine about 400' from the cabin. Use is through a reservation, and the door has a combination lock.

Capacity is up to 12 guests (stay limit: 3 nights). In summer you can drive up to the cabin; in winter access is by a 1/4 mile walk/ski. The cabin is heated with a wood stove (bring your own wood). Pets are allowed, with leashing required in developed areas like the picnic area/overflow camping area. The nightly rate shown in operator materials is $100 per night, and payment by credit cards is supported.
