Paradise Haven Cabin

Paradise Haven Cabin is a backcountry wilderness hut operated by Eagle River Nature Center in Chugach State Park. It’s reached by a hike about 1.5 miles from the Nature Center Trailhead along the Historic Iditarod Trail, so expect a carry-in approach.

The cabin sleeps up to 8 people on wooden plywood bunks, with seating (table and benches) plus a nearby outhouse. Bring your own sleeping bags, cooking gear, and lighting; firewood handling is handled on site with a woodshed.

Use is by reservation through the Friends of Eagle River Nature Center Facility Rentals page. In winter, bringing a sled is recommended for the 1.5-mile carry-in.
