Eleazar's Cabin
Eleazar's Cabin is a primitive backcountry wilderness cabin run by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management in the White Mountains National Recreation Area (Alaska). The cabin is designed for rustic stays and is described as non-electric and without water, with equipment that includes bunk beds, a propane cook stove and lantern, and a wood stove; there is also an outhouse. The cabin sleeps up to 6, and stays are limited to 3 consecutive nights.
For overnight use, a reservation is required through Recreation.gov. The published nightly rate is $42 per night, and the cabin includes a fire extinguisher plus basic tools and furnishings (table/benches). It is not accessible to ATVs in the summer season (May 1–October 14). Access in summer is possible via the Summit Trail, which involves hiking several miles off-trail through brushy terrain, while winter use is the primary design purpose.
