Ernie's Creek Hut

Ernie's Creek Hut is a remote backcountry hut used for hunting in the East Taupo Lands Trust Block (Hawke’s Bay/Taupo). The hut sits in tussock flats and scrub country with pockets of native bush, and access is only by helicopter via a hunting operator—there’s no road or public foot access to the hut itself.
