Eudore

Eudore is a backcountry chalet on the Traversée de Charlevoix, set at the foot of Mont du Dôme in Quebec. It’s a staffed hut stop designed around multi-day thru-hike use, with a 14-person capacity.

The chalet is equipped with a slow-burning wood stove, a 4-burner propane stove and oven, solar-powered refrigeration and solar/propane lighting on the floors, and dry toilets. There is no running water; outdoor fires are prohibited and you must pack out all waste. Access is on foot from the Mont du Dôme parking lot via the Mont du Dôme trail, and you must stop by reception to pick up the keys (135 rang Saint-François, at kilometer 10.6, on route 381).
