Fred Blixt Cabin
Fred Blixt Cabin is a primitive, nonelectric backcountry cabin managed by the Bureau of Land Management in the White Mountains National Recreation Area area of Alaska. It has sleeping capacity for up to 6 people and is wheelchair accessible. Use is by reservation, with pets allowed and campfire use allowed.
Inside, the cabin is equipped with bunk beds plus a table and benches, along with a propane cook stove and lantern. It also includes a wood stove, and there is an outhouse. Firewood is not provided—bring dry firewood for the wood stove.
