Galehead Hut

Galehead Hut is a hut or lodge-style shelter in New Hampshire, United States. It is operated by Appalachian Mountain Club. Capacity is 30 people. Fees apply.

Use the surrounding trail, forest, park, or backcountry network for nearby outdoor travel appropriate to the local terrain and season. Bring a sleeping bag, food, lighting, toilet paper, a first-aid kit, and pack-out bags; add stove/fuel, navigation, communication, winter, and avalanche equipment where conditions require it. Check current conditions and local rules with the land manager or operator before relying on it for a trip.
