The Warrior's Cabin

The Warrior's Cabin is a propane-heated wilderness hut on the Upper Valley Stewardship Center property in Pike, New Hampshire, used for winter backcountry skiing and overnighting in the mid-mountain area.

The cabin is set at the end of a service road and is used for practical backcountry functions: drying gear, storing potable water, and holding solar-powered battery packs for recharging radios and cell phones. Dinner and breakfast have been prepared inside the cabin, with winter camping set up behind it during events.
