Gîte de Trévans

Alpine hutGîte de Trévans is a non-guarded backcountry refuge in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence area, used on a self-serve, first-come-first-served basis. It’s set up for short stays with sleeping on wooden planks: space for 5 people, with 2 mattresses and 3 blankets provided.
Inside, you’ll find a fireplace and a fixed large shared table; there’s also a nearby water source (within about 100 m). The refuge has no stove, and wood is nearby but you won’t be able to rely on tools being supplied—plan to arrive self-sufficient (including bringing what you need for a safe, controllable fire).
