Habert de la Perrière
Habert de la Perrière is an unstaffed backcountry hut in the Belledonne area, used as a stop along GR® 738 (“la Haute traversée de Belledonne”). It’s open to hikers without reservations and is managed as a “leave-it-better” kind of stop, with no staff service expected on site.
The hut is sized for about 18 sleeping places (mattresses and blankets) and has a wood stove for cooking/heat. Solar lighting/USB charging are provided, and there are outdoor dry toilets plus a fountain right in front of the hut. Access is from the Val Pelouse area (about 2–2.5 hours on foot), and the hut sits at roughly 1,630 m elevation. A voluntary contribution system supports upkeep, and the hut is built for multi-user stays—expect it to be popular when conditions allow.
