Hikurangi Hut

Hikurangi Hut is a basic backcountry hut on the track to Maunga Hikurangi in Raukumara Conservation Park, New Zealand. It’s a 10-bunk hut used for overnight stays on the hut route and is managed by Te Runanganui o Ngāti Porou. The hut is set up for self-sufficient tramping: bring your own sleeping bag, food, and water; there’s a long-drop toilet and a fireplace that is only for use when permitted.
